Keep of Kalessin

Keep of Kalessin spawned back in 1994, under the name Ildskjaer, by the hand of Ghash and Obsidian C., later joined by Vyl and Warach. The band´s violent yet dark and epic black metal - as well as the somewhat mysterious monicker and lyrics - are inspired by the work of American fantasy writer Ursula K. Le Guin's The Earthsea Quartet. With this concept in mind, the guys recorded the first demo Skygger av Sorg in the Fall of 1996, though several problems in finding a proper rehearsal room made this task rather difficult.

Anne Marie Almedal

In the arcadian fields of pastoral folk-pop, there is a rare nightingale nestling in the trees, singing her song…Anne Marie Almedal. The velvet-voiced Norwegian artist whose words, music and presence astounds many. Ever since fronting the art-pop indie heroes Velvet Belly throughout the 90's, ice-cool electronica adventures in AM and the UV, numerous recordings, live performances, film & TV themes, special guest appearances, and right up to her recent emergence as acoustic folk-pop chanteuse extraordinaire…it´s been a long, but worthwhile journey.
