Sharkbait

Sharkbait (one word) was a San Francisco based industrial group active from 1986 to 1996. They were a true industrial band, in the vain of Einstürzende Neubauten, using multiple percussionists in their songs and live performances. Everything from Taiko drums, sheets of metal, oil drums, huge metal springs, and many other tribal percussion instruments were used. On top of the rythmic assault were layers of noise, distorted and manipulated instruments, tape loops, samples, and vocals by multiple singers (male and female).

Capital Cities

L.A.’s Capital Cities arrive with a little sonic head rush called ‘Safe and Sound’, an easy, breezy, beautiful slice of effervescent electro-pop that even comes complete with a massive ‘trumpets-in-da-club’ bit that absolutely kills it. (Neon Gold) The song has catchy indie stylings and features the beloved vintage Juno-106 keyboard that gives the production such a comforting retro vibe. (Arjan Writes) It's a scorcher bound to make your dance-infused taste buds sizzle. The music swarms with outside-of-the-box tendencies, jam-packed full of life, energy and unusual yet fantastic sounds.

IDYLLS

One count of guitarist, drummer, vocalist and bassist - IDYLLS. Two years of heavy experimentation and member reconfiguration lead to a lucid birth in early 2011. Three tracks of absolutely scathing temperatures, 'Amps for God/Plague Hell' is but a sliver of the desperately violent catharsis to come. Post-life. Pre-cemetery. Sun Distorted.

Ninjaraps?
