Thomas Dybdahl

Norwegian singer-songwriter, who has released 4 albums, all with critical acclaim and commercial success in Norway and Denmark as well. Before he went solo, he was the guitarist in the Norwegian band Quadraphonics. He is also the lead singer in The National Bank, which consists of members from Jaga Jazzist and BigBang. Thomas did the vocals on a few tracks for the popular British band Morcheeba, on their album "Dive Deep" released in 2008.

The Whitest Boy Alive

The Whitest Boy Alive is a musical group based in Berlin. The band comprises singer/guitarist Erlend Øye, who is also a member of the band Kings of Convenience, bassist Marcin Öz, drummer Sebastian Maschat, and Daniel Nentwig on Rhodes piano and Crumar. Erlend Øye is from Norway, while the rest of the band is German. They started as an electronic dance music project in 2003 in Berlin, but have since slowly developed into a band with no programmed elements. Their German record label is Bubbles. Their debut album Dreams was released on June 21, 2006 in Germany.

Burzum

Burzum is the solo project of Varg Vikernes (born Kristian Larsson Vikernes, AKA Greven Grishnackh/Count Grishnackh, currently legally named Varg Qisling Larsson Vikernes). The band was initially known as Uruk-Hai, Varg Vikernes' first band which he formed in 1988-89. He changed the name to Burzum (meaning "darkness" in Black Speech, the language of Mordor in Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings) in 1991 after the disbanding of Satanel, a band he founded with Abbath of Immortal.

Immortal is a prominent black metal band from Bergen, Norway. The group began in 1989 as "Amputation", a death metal band. Immortal's early full-length releases were of a traditional, yet complex black metal style, but their acclaimed album At the Heart of Winter saw the band begin to experiment with a fusion of black metal and German thrash. The resulting sound was a style which characterized Immortal's later works. Immortal has been influential to many modern metal artists. Immortal's founders; Abbath and Demonaz, have attained a legendary status in the Scandinavian heavy metal scene.

The New Wine are a electro-pop band from Bergen, Norway. They consist of Stian Iversen (Guitar and Vocals), Adrian Søgnen (Drums and Percussion), Johan Hatleskog (Bass) and Geir Hermansen (Synthesizer, Guitar, Percussion and backing Vocals). They are the winner of the 2008 Riksalarm prize. In early 2009, they toured with The Whitest Boy Alive around Europe.
