Crime & the City Solution were a rock group headed by Australian singer/songwriter Simon Bonney and active between the years of 1977-1991. Despite roots dating back as far as 1978, Crime & the City Solution did not truly emerge until 1984, coming to life in the wake of the dissolution of the seminal Birthday Party. Crime & the City Solution had many members over the years, which can be divided into four distinct line-ups: Sydney in 1977-78, Melbourne in 1979, and two groupings in Berlin. The only common member in all four line-ups was Bonney.

Formed 2011, thrashing out ideas and emotions in a cellar, and coming up with something that when harnessed, shimmered and howled. Ill health and psychological issues put it on ice for half a year, but then freshly focused, jumping in the fire blind, The Anxiety Of Love recorded four songs in the August of 2012, which by the end of the year will be released as their first recording, a cassette EP, called simply 'One.'
RONIN is the name of multiple musical acts. 1.) Ronin aka Jonathan Axelsson was born in Sweden, and got in touch with music very early in life since both his father and grandfather were musicians. As a young boy he started playing drums, and then continued with piano lessons. In the mid 90's he discovered a new type of music that would change his life forever. The music he heard was called deep house, and struck Jonathan's heart immediately. He now started to produce music in a more serious matter and in 1997 he got in touch with Johan Bacto, which later formed the label PlackTown Sounds.
There are two music projects named Opera 1. The Polish new wave band. It was founded in 1986 by the musicians of well-known polish group Republika and the vocalist Robert Gawliński (currently leader of popular polish band Wilki). They recorded only one album, then the band was dissolved. 2. French band created in 2005. Although Opera's music is often referred to as electro, their form of electronic music really owes more to the early synthesizer sounds of the 1970s and 1980's such as Italian horror movies composer Claudio Simonetti...
Marine were a shortlived Belgian crew who found home in the post-punk movement in the UK.
The sleevenotes in this LTM release even credit their "frantic funk" sound as as an influence on Josef K. It's easy to see why on this compilation which encompasses their entire studio recordings but considering they only released four singles that's not really saying much. The group appreciated The Clash (the 'London Calling' style howling on 'Animal In My Head' and 'Remember Caribou') but from listening to third single 'Same Beat' a closer relation to their sound is Haircut One Hundred.

Crispy Ambulance were formed in Manchester (UK) in 1978 by Alan Hempsall (vocals), Keith Darbyshire (bass), Gary Madeley (drums) and Robert Davenport (guitar). Singles Not What I Expected (Factory, 1980) and Live on a Hot August Night (Factory Benelux, 1981, produced by Martin Hannett) preceded the album The Plateau Phase (Factory Benelux, 1981), and final single Sexus (also Factory Benelux, 1981).
Feeding Fingers is a trio fronted by artist, musician, author and animator, Justin Curfman. The band was founded in 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia, but has since relocated to Germany. Formation (2006) Justin Curfman, an award-winning animator/filmmaker from Atlanta, Georgia. He had written and produced pieces of music that never found a place in any of his films.
