It's A Beautiful Day

It's a Beautiful Day was a band formed on a beautiful day in San Francisco in 1967, and was the brainchild of violinist and vocalist David LaFlamme. David has been in a band called Orkustra with Bobby Beausoleil. The other members were David's wife Linda (keyboards), Pattie Santos (vocals), Hal Wagenet (guitar), Mitchell Holman (bass) and Val Fuentes (drums). Their debut album, the self-titled It's A Beautiful Day, was released in 1969. They were a bit of a latecomer in the psychedelic scene, often considered to be one of the "second wave" bands that emerged from the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Outsiders

There are several artists named The Outsiders (11 are mentioned here): (1) The Outsiders were a sixties beat band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Formed in 1960 as a neighbourhood band from Amsterdam East, The Outsiders became one of the most succesful Dutch groups of the 1960s. They made some lastingly great records and never recorded anyone else's material, with singer Wally Tax writing the lyrics and guitarist Ron Splinter the music for nearly all of the twelve 45s and three LPs they made.

Mel Williams a local and International entertainer has performed all over the world. From a tour in the most popular destinations in Spain, The Canary Islands to Shows in Nashville, Philly, and of course locally including all of the Elegant and happening spots in So. Fla. His career started at a bingo hall where his dad worked . Young Mel sang impromptu for the attendants there that night and walked away with a pocket full of nickels, dimes, and quarters.
