Two artists that use the name Los:
1.Los is from Liberty Heights and Garrison in Baltimore, Maryland, a city known for hustlers who get it in the streets. The city has been well publicized on shows like "The Wire" and "The Corner". Now Baltimore has another conduit to catapult the city to national visibility. LOS has been on his grind since 1999 and showed his hunger in the battles he dominated.

Marlo Eggplant was born in Baltimore, MD. She was originally trained in voice, classical guitar, piano, and cello. She began her musical career favoring folk and punk by playing local venues as a teen. When she attended college in the Berkshires, she became more interested in avant garde and bizarre musics. In 2003, she co-founded Spleencoffin records with Timothy Wisniewski. She was the drummer in the short lived improvisational deconstructed noise rock band, Hazardous Guadalupe.

"Mama" Cass Elliot, Baroness von Wiedenman (19 September 1941 – 29 July 1974), born Ellen Naomi Cohen, was a noted American singer who performed with The Mamas & the Papas. She then went onto a successful solo career, releasing nine albums. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she spent most of her childhood both in Baltimore and Alexandria, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C. Elliot was widely considered the most charismatic member of the Mamas & the Papas due to her sense of humor and optimism, in part because of her large size and weight.

Whilst originally forming in Sydney, Australia in 2005, The Death Set (also spelt TheDeathSet or The DeathSet) have traversed the world delivering their high energy club punk. Now based in Baltimore, America they have extensively toured in the DIY, punk and club circuits with a sound that uniquely attracts audiences in all those scenes. Core members are Johnny Siera and Beau Velasco, utilising just two highly distorted guitars and microphones for recordings, with a third member being their post-casiotone, electronic club backing beats.
