Dan Markland

2009 has been an extraordinarily busy year for what can accurately be described as the bastard lovechild of Paul Weller, Joe Strummer and Janis Joplin (if that were possible). With a debut single roaming the Sussex airwaves and countless appearances up and down the coast to promote it, the group have now expanded to a foursome and the fire just keeps on burning. Keeping the formula simple whilst also lyrically complex and fascinating makes 2010 the year for this band to explode.

Bee Gees

The Bee Gees, originally made up of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb (died 2012), and Maurice Gibb (died 2003), have been successful for most of their 40-plus years of recording music. They had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a pop act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as a foremost act of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man, UK to English parents in 1946 (Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, September 1) and 1949 ( twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Ernest Gibb, December 22).

Article One

Article One is a Christian rock band from London, Ontario. The band originally performed under the name Appertain Display but has since adopted the name Article One in honour of article one of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The group consists of Nathan Piche (vocals, guitar, and keys), Matt Piche (violin and vocals), Dave DeSmit (drums and vocals) and Mark Laidman (bass guitar). The band is currently signed under the label Inpop Records.

Anek

Anek is an alternative rock band formed in 2001 in Lecce, Italy. Become more popular in 2009 with the release of their “5439" EP and their first single, "Bella", that aired on several local radio stations. Founding members Pete Sandon, his brother Jan Sandon and their friend Dario "Rock-D" Scordari welcomed guitarist Dave Tufano in 2006. At the end of 2009 Jan and Dario left the band and new drummer Loris De Carlo, son of the famous Italian drummer Enzo De Carlo, joined the band. The new line up finished to write and arrange new songs and travelled to London to record Anek first full length.
