Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr. (born November 2, 1974 in St. Louis, Missouri), better known by his stage name Nelly, is an American rapper, singer, actor and entrepreneur signed to Universal and Derrty Records. He has been active since 1993 as a bandmate of the rap group St. Lunatics, and became a hip-hop superstar after the success of his solo release, Country Grammar, in 2000. The album peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200, spawned multiple chart toppers and won three Grammy awards.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Fake is an anonymous songwriting duo consisting, let's say, the brothers Jack and Jake Fake from, let's say, Baltimore USA. Their first release was their re arranged version of Lou Reed's classic "I'm waiting for the man" originally released in 1967 on the legendary The Velvet Underground and Nico album produced by Andy Warhol. Fatlip (b. Derrick Stewart in 1969) is an American rapper and former member of the alternative hip hop group The Pharcyde, which he was a member of from 1990 to 1995. After being fired from The Pharcyde, Fatlip began his solo career with the single "What's Up Fatlip?" in 2000, but did not release a solo debut album until 2005, when he released "The Loneliest Punk". Fatlip has appeared on songs by many artists, such as The Chemical Brothers, Neon Neon and N.A.S.A.

Mason Durell Betha (born August 27, 1975),[1] better known by stage name Mase (often typeset as Ma$e) who was previously known as Murda Ma$e, is an American rapper, songwriter, actor and inspirational speaker. He was an artist on Sean "Diddy" Combs's hip hop label Bad Boy Records. He was introduced as Bad Boy Entertainment's next big artist during the summer of 1996 when he was featured on the remix to 112's debut single, "Only You", which peaked at number one on Billboard's Hot Dance Singles Sales chart as well as its Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
