There are two bands with the name Gyroscope. The first is a pop punk/alternative rock band from Perth, Western Australia formed in 1997 by Daniel Sanders (vocals, guitar), Zoran Trivic (guitar), Brad Campbell (bass), and Rob Nassif (drums). They recorded their first demo cassette, First, as Gyroscope Sunday in 1998, and took up playing regularly on the Perth live circuit whilst also finding time for work and school commitments. John Peter Farnham (born July 1, 1949) is an English-born Australian pop singer. Domestically he has remained one of Australia's best-known performers over a career spanning more than 30 years. He is the only Australian artist to have a number one record in five consecutive decades (echoing Sir Cliff Richard in the United Kingdom). Between 1982 and 1986 he fronted Little River Band. Born in Dagenham, East London, United Kingdom, Farnham spent the first years of his life in England before migrating to Australia in 1959.
Kisschasy is an Australian alternative rock band formed in Victoria, Australia in 2002. Since forming, their line-up has consisted of lead vocalist Darren Cordeux, bassist Joel Vanderuit, guitarist Sean Thomas, and drummer Karl Ammitzboll. The band has released three studio albums, two of which are gold certified, two extended plays, a documentary DVD and a compilation album in their 7 year career, selling in excess of 90,000 records.

The Cruel Sea is a multi-ARIA Award winning 90s Australian rock/blues outfit. Originally an instrumental band focused on surf sounds, the addition of vocalist Tex Perkins (also a member of The Beasts Of Bourbon and a solo artist) proved an inspired decision. Combining the charismatic Perkins with the highly talented musicians created an unstoppable force through much of the 90s. Members of the band continue to perform, though with the exception of Perkins, most activity is fairly low key.
Hunters & Collectors were an Australian Rock band, formed in 1981 in Melbourne, who were originally influenced by German experimentalists like Can and later leaning more towards popular rock. Taking their name from a Can song, the band was formed by Mark Seymour (guitar, vocals), John Archer (bass), Doug Falconer (drums), Geoff Crosby (keyboards), Greg Perano (percussion), Ray Tosti-Gueira (guitar), and Robert Miles (sound engineer and art director, considered a full member).
Jebediah are an alternative rock band from Perth, Australia. Forming in 1994, the band consists of Kevin Mitchell (vocals, rhythm guitar), Vanessa Thornton (bass guitar), Chris Daymond (lead guitar) and Brett Mitchell (drums). The band signed with Murmur, a label of Sony Music, in 1996 and released their first album Slightly Odway in 1997. They released three more albums before splitting with Sony: Of Someday Shambles, Jebediah and Glee Sides and Sparities.
