Will Varley

Will Varley was borne in Brixton in 1987. He spent his teenage years in Kingston playing solo shows and siniging in bands. His debut album is due to be released on Smugglers Records in July 2011. He plays an explosive and subversive brand of British folk music.

Was an American composer of popular music. Having written over 400 songs, a number of which have become known the world over, Arlen is a highly regarded contributor to the Great American Songbook. His 1938 song "Over the Rainbow” was voted the twentieth century's No. 1 song by the Recording Industry Association of America Biography Arlen was born Hyman Arluck, in Buffalo, New York, the child of a Jewish cantor.

Michael Giacchino (pronounced juh-kee-no) (born 1967, Riverside, New Jersey) is an American soundtrack composer who has composed several multi-award winning scores for many popular movies, television series and video games. He attended the Evening Division at the Juilliard School, as well as the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he acquired a degree in film production and a minor degree in History.

Ben Christophers is an English singer-songwriter. He wrote his first song at the age of five and has released four full length albums: My Beautiful Demon, Spoonface, The Spaces In Between and a limited edition album called Viewfinder. In 2010 he released a self-titled mini-album and toured with Imogen Heap. He is also part of the Blue Dreams, the backing band for Bat For Lashes. Christophers has had two TV documentaries made on him by the VPRO in Holland. He has written with and duetted with Françoise Hardy and toured with Tori Amos.

Bernard Butler

Bernard Butler (born on 1 May 1970, in Stamford Hill, North London), is a musician and record producer. He first achieved fame in 1992 as the guitarist with Suede, at the time an instant phenomenon in UK pop music. He co-wrote and played on every track until 1994, when he left Suede over personal tensions within the band during the recording of their second album, Dog Man Star. Butler formed the duo McAlmont & Butler with David McAlmont. They released two singles, Yes and You Do. A compilation album, The Sound Of McAlmont And Butler, was released after the split.

Alfred Newman

Alfred Newman (March 17, 1900 – February 17, 1970), was a major American composer of music for films. In 1939, Newman began a twenty-one year career as music director for 20th Century-Fox Studios. He composed the familiar fanfare which accompanies the studio logo at the beginning of Fox's productions. At Fox, he also developed what came to be known as the Newman System, a means of synchronising the performance and recording of a musical score with the film. The system is still in use today.
