Vince Gill

Vince Gill (born April 12, 1957) is an American country music musician, songwriter, singer and a member of the Country Music Hall Of Fame. He achieved commercial success and fame both as frontman to the country-rock band Pure Prairie League in the 1970s, and as a solo artist beginning in 1983, where his talents as a vocalist and musician have placed him in high demand as a guest vocalist, and a duet partner (with artists including Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Amy Grant and Barbra Streisand).

Afghan Whigs

American band the Afghan Whigs were a soul-influenced, alternative rock band that was mainly active in the 1990s. While achieving only moderate commercial success, the Afghan Whigs attracted ample critical acclaim and deeply loyal fans, Rolling Stone described the band as spending "the bulk of their career on the brink of stardom", yet they've "never quite broken beyond a substantial legion of devotees enamored of their thinly veiled sleaze."

Rozalla

Rozalla (born Rozalla Miller on March 18, 1964 in Ndola, Zambia) is a female Pop/Soul/Dance music performer from Zimbabwe. She is best known for her 1991 hit Everybody's Free (To Feel Good). Her subsequent club success has earned her the title "Queen of Rave". Rozalla first came on the scene in the 1980s in Zimbabwe, the country she had moved to from her birth country. Her singles charted well in the area and english producer Christopher Sergeant took her to London in 1988. She later started living there and Christopher became her manager.

Kisschasy

Kisschasy is an Australian band formed in Victoria, Australia in 2002. Since forming, their line-up has consisted of lead vocalist Darren Cordeux, bassist Joel Vanderuit, guitarist Sean Thomas, and drummer Karl Ammitzboll. The band has released three studio albums, two of which are gold certified, two extended plays, a documentary DVD and a compilation album in their 7 year career, selling in excess of 90,000 records.

Menswear

Menswe@r were a short-lived Britpop band in the mid 1990s from Camden in London. They signed their record deal after their fifth gig, appearing on the cover of Melody Maker (in an article about Camden club night Blow Up) before they had recorded a note. They were featured in a Select article about the mod revival when the project was still purely in the imaginations of Chris Gentry and Johnny Dean. Their dress sense was Mod (tight fitting suits etc) whilst their music was influenced by both Blur's second album Modern Life Is Rubbish and Elastica.

Sky Ferreira

Sky Ferreira (born July 8, 1992), is an American , model and actress from Los Angeles, California, United States. In July 2009 she signed a record deal with EMI. Ferreira got her start in her hometown of Los Angeles. She sang gospel songs in church throughout her childhood. At age 13, she started taking opera lessons to refine her singing voice. She spent the next few years maintaining a MySpace profile where she uploaded various tracks.

Battle Beast

There are two bands named Battle Beast. 1) Battle Beast was born in the year 2008 in Helsinki, Finland. Battle Beast represents the traditional sound - Bringing you high screams, old school riffs and strong choruses. In one word: Power. In May 2010, Battle Beast had its big opportunity to warm up Ex-Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley as they were performing in Finland during the "Promise and Terror"- tour. Battle Beast played in 4 of 5 shows with another band Merging Flare on Blaze's tour in and the feedback on the gigs was very positive.

Missy Higgins (born Melissa Morrison Higgins on August 19, 1983, in Melbourne, Australia) is one of Australia's most popular female singer-songwriters. Missy (Melissa) was thrust into the limelight in her homeland when her sister entered Missy into a competition, which she won. The competition was conducted by the national alternative broadcaster, Triple J. Although she was still in high school, her song All For Believing quickly became one of the station's most requested tracks of 2001.
