Coming from Portugal, a country where contemporary artistic forms tend to suffer some neglect and lack international projection, The Temple have progressively and surprisingly conquered admirers all over the world, mainly as a result of an underground diffusion born of the enthusiasm of several radio editors, fanzines, webzines, etc. Confirming it is the fact that the 38 tracks available to the public on their website (http://www.thetemple.com.pt) for the two years before the release of their last album had an average of 1,4 downloads per hour, totaling 36 000 copies.

The Gift

1) Formed in 1994, The Gift was initially a side project of the Dead Souls, Nuno Gonçalves and Miguel Ribeiro’s band at the time. The evolution from one project to another was natural, as they felt the Dead Souls sound was limited by their instrumentation (guitar, drums and bass)and they wanted to experiment with new sounds and explore new musical paths.

Rodrigo Leão

Rodrigo Leão is a Portuguese musician and composer. He was born in Lisbon in 1964. He became known for his musical compositions and participation in portuguese bands such as Madredeus and Sétima Legião. He co-founded the band Sétima Legião in 1982 and Madredeus in 1985. As his solo records started to receive increasing attention, he suspends his colaborations with these two groups in 1993 and 1994.

The Advent

The Advent may refer to the alias of techno artist Cisco Ferreira or the Christian metalcore band. aka Cisco Ferreira Longtime advocates of sonic terrorism even before banding together as the Advent in 1993, Cisco Ferreira and Colin McBean's assault on conventional techno flourished in part because of abundant glimpses into related styles, from electro and hip-hop to techno. Soon after leaving school, Ferreira began working as an engineer at Jack Trax Records, a job which enabled him to glimpse first-hand the work of such auteurs as Derrick May and Marshall Jefferson.

Rui Veloso

Rui Veloso, born in 1957, is a Portuguese rock singer and musician. Regarded as the “father of Portuguese rock”, this composer and interpreter had a great impact on the Portuguese music scene with the record Ar de Rock (April 1980). Songs such as Chico Fininho and A Rapariguinha do Shopping were instant classics in the 1980s. His lyrics, usually written by Carlos Tê, are strongly influenced by Porto's culture. An unconditional lover of the blues, he has played with B.B.

Noiserv

David Santos dá forma a Noiserv quando em 2005 grava uma demo de 3 músicas para participar no Termómetro Unplugged desse ano. A sua música foi escolhida e David participou na eliminatória do Porto, no Contagiarte, e apesar de não ter sido seleccionado para a final acabou por servir de entusiasmo para prosseguir o caminho. Mais tarde em Julho do mesmo ano acaba por editar essa mesmo demo em formato EP On Line na Merzbau.
