Fuzz Against Junk

There are 2 bands sharing this name: 1. Psychedelic free folk/jazz/rock merchants formed in Bristol 2002, featuring the lysergic sounds of double bass, sax n' flute, sitar, electric noise, super-fuzz, northumbrian bagpipes and vocals straight out of 1969 era Fairport. "The work of Fuzz against Junk has included the techniques of collective improvisation. The tapestry of their music can at first be confusing, for it is the aural equivalent of a constantly agitated kaleidoscope be each instrument freaking-out in ever new ways" -Granville Chesterwick

Spirit Catcher

History has spawned hundreds of genius double acts where two minds and talents collide to form something innovative and artistically challenging. Unfortunately, Spirit Catcher are just a pair of european weirdos. As we all know, exciting and romantic collisions happen in, say, Hollywood or London. Not in Belgium. I mean, does Belgium have C.H.I.P.s? Or Hart to Hart? It doesnt. It has bugger all. No heroes, no drama, no action. Chocolates.beer.and Spirit Catcher.

Tiedye

Tiedye was formed during nights of bikemoshing, slowdancing and wierdsailing. Two guys form the heart of this obscure and obvious formation of what we call the band Tiedye.
From the rocks and waves of the west coast of Sweden Tiedye explores and develops the sounds of dreaming disco, windblowing pop and gruy

Artist Type:

Washed Out

Washed Out is Ernest Greene, a young guy from Georgia (via South Carolina) who makes bedroom synthpop that sounds blurred and woozily evocative, like someone smeared Vaseline all over an early OMD demo tape, then stayed up all night trying to recreate what they heard. There’s a sense of longing and distance in Greene’s somber, filtered vocals, but it’s what he does compositionally that makes Washed Out stand out.

Artist Type:

Shazam

1- Shazam (not to be confused with band The Shazam) is producer Cameron Parkin from Perth, Western Australia. Getting releases pressed to vinyl since he was 16, his current output is somewhat along the lines of French House and Electro-Funk (in the truest/purest sense of the terminology). 2- Shazam is a German eurodance project produced by Graham Bonney, Andreas Herchenbach and Guido Scheffler.
Shazam released the singles "No Guarantee" and "Baby Baby Baby".
