Day of The Dead

Day of the Dead is a band from Portugal. Day Of The Dead was formed in May 2001, as a weapon to express our personal feelings and beliefs. DOTD's main purpose is to fight against all the apathy that is poisoning today's punk/hardcore scene. Sharing different seeds of discontentment about several issues related to the realities of our lives, DOTD tries to instigate reflection and discussion.

Artist Type:

Terrakota

From TerraKota flourishes a natural music deep rooted in the Black continent, inspired by the Saharan, Caribbean, Hindu and the Western sounds that rise under the Jamaican sun. In most cases, African music is simply the expression of life through sounds in which the musician beyond imitating the sounds of nature, using natural musical instruments, also reverses this process using the sounds of nature in its music.

RED trio

Formed by three musicians from the new improvised music Lisbon scene, RED trio features Rodrigo Pinheiro at the piano, Hernâni Faustino at the doublebass and Gabriel Ferrandini at the drums. The trio was formed in 2007 as a response to a challenge posed by Hernâni Faustino. RED Trio explores one of the most prolific jazz formations: piano/doublebass/drums. The trio's music is characterized for being fast, energic, highly focused, dynamic and sometimes nervous and violent. Most of RED trio influences are based on jazz and especially on improvised music.

Norberto Lobo

Norberto Lobo is a Lisbon-based musician and Mudar de bina is his first solo album. It’s a record centred almost exclusively on the sound of the acoustic guitar and therefore on the expressive abilities of Norberto Lobo as a guitarist.
In these days of ‘polished’ music production it became easy to forget the eminently physical character of a significant part of musical creation. Records like Mudar de bina contribute in some way to revert this tendency.

The collective incarnates their first outfit skins and aided by aboriginal instrument didgeridoo, spread their surprising chemistry throughout the stages of the university circuit and major festivals turning songs like “Atom Bride Theme” into expressions of pure energy.
