Syphus
Syphus is a demoscene/chiptune musician based in Newcastle, UK. He is a member of Up Rough, CpH and BDSE demogroups and composes mainly on the Commodore Amiga. As well as having released many tunes in scene productions over the years (most recently on the Bitfellas 'Bitjam' DVD), Syphus performs his music live. 2007 saw his participation in the Chiptune Alliance tour of the UK and a mini-tour of venues in New York as part of Project Transonic.

Komputer
Komputer is the project of two London-based synth-meisters: Simon Leonard and David Baker, releasing on Mute Records. The duo have been writing, mixing and producing together for over 25 years, formerly in I Start Counting & Fortran 5. Their new album is Synthetik. Their sound is rigorously electronic and their tracks deal with such diverse subjects as: Russian cosmonauts, rubbish compactors and mobile phone ringtones. Musical antecedents and influences include Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Syd Barrett and Brian Eno.
Ernesto
There are at least three artists called Ernesto. 1. Ernesto is a soulful singer and music maker Jonatan Bäckelie from Gothenburg. Ernesto has toured Europe and Japan with compost records nu jazz/broken beat pioneers Beanfield, been seen collaborating with Swell Session(Freerange Records) and is guest vocalist of choice for Plej, Blu Mar Ten and jori hulkonnen to name but a few. With sound histories in the musical realm, brothers Joshua (voice) and Ben (synths) manifest digital and analogue ideas; one part divine inspiration, one part machine translation. Together they create grand poetic electronica, with its own future echo. On stage drummer Robbie makes his own waves, and the trio is complete.
Fatima Al Qadiri
Fatima Al Qadiri is a Brooklyn-based composer, musician, curator and artist. Born in Senegal, Al Qadiri's exposure to the rampant misappropriation of Western subculture while growing up in Kuwait is apparent in her highly virtuosic body of work. She has performed her symphonic and plaintive baroque electronic compositions at The Kitchen, Gallery 179 and Santos Party House and has regularly exhibited multimedia projects in New York City and Kuwait alongside fellow iconoclasts Khalid Al Gharaballi and Lauren Boyle.
Area 51
There are, at least, seven acts known as Area 51: 1) A rap trio consisting of an African American (MC Random), Hispanic (Apakalips) & Caucasian (Crow Magnum), emcees from the LA, CA area. They have released multiple projects, most notably "Independent's Day" released on Raptalk Records (2008). 2) An alias of Dan Nyman. 3) A continuation of Michiel van der Kuy's solo project, Rygar - well known to many synthdance fans.
Pond
There are at least two artists with this name: 1. Pond is an Australian outfit led by two core members of Tame Impala. Pond is free spirited Psychedelic Garage-Glam of the highest order from some very young, very talented 'Perth-onalities'. It all presents an opportunity for the members to change instruments more freely live experiment with recording. Pond is a hard band to pin down, not that you'll want to.
