The Brunettes were formed in Auckland, New Zealand in 1998 by musical couple Jonathan Bree and Heather Mansfield. They were a paradox from the beginning - creating boy/girl melodramatic pop inspired by 70s New York punk and 60s girl groups but surrounded in an Auckland scene of opiate-infused garage rock 'n' roll. Sweet Female Attitude

Sweet Female Attitude were an R'n'B duo consisting of Leanne Brown and Catherine Cassidy both of whom came from Stockport in the UK, and are considered a one hit wonder in the United Kingdom. Their April 2000 single "Flowers" made it to number two in the UK charts, but the follow up, Eight Days A Week stalled at number 43. Sweet FA, as the name is commonly abbreviated to, were promoted as a 'more realistic' pair of British girls who refused to conform to the industry standards of being thin and well-toned, instead being happy with their figure.

Three bands with the name Psychonauts exist : 1) DJ band formed by Paul Mogg and Pablo Clements. 2) Psytrance duo from Greece. 3) Psychobilly band from Switzerland. 1)The Psychonauts are Paul Mogg and Pablo Clements. Two school friends from Yeovil in Somerset. They became friends through a shared love of hip hop and disco. They started a club night known as the Night Of Cookers and mixed up hip hop, house and techno.

Shakespear's Sister

Shakespear's Sister were pop/rock duo consisting of former Bananarama member Siobhan Fahey and (from 1989 - 1996) singer/songwriter/guitarist Marcella Detroit (real name Marcy Levy). Detroit had previously performed with Eric Clapton, released a solo album in 1982, and has since released more solo material as well as a blues album with the Marcy Levy Band. Fahey was born in Dublin, Ireland, and Detroit was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA, hence her stage name.

Twizzle

With swagger and skill beyond his 18 years, West London rapper Twizzle is taking British urban music forward and into the future. With an undeniable flow and a mark for the flashy, Twizzle cut his teeth spitting on the pirate radio stations around Shepherds Bush from the age of 14. He soon graduated to the local "West On Lock" freestyle competition, which he won hands-down, two years running. At 16, he got locked up in a juvenile facility for drug charges.
