Sweet Female Attitude

Sweet Female Attitude were an R'n'B duo consisting of Leanne Brown and Catherine Cassidy both of whom came from Stockport in the UK, and are considered a one hit wonder in the United Kingdom. Their April 2000 single "Flowers" made it to number two in the UK charts, but the follow up, Eight Days A Week stalled at number 43. Sweet FA, as the name is commonly abbreviated to, were promoted as a 'more realistic' pair of British girls who refused to conform to the industry standards of being thin and well-toned, instead being happy with their figure.

Tony Humphries

A Brooklyn native, Tony Humphries is one of the most important names in the evolution of House and Garage music. He landed his first professional DJ gig at Manhattan's upper-class Club El Morocco at the tail end of the Disco explosion in 1975. Disco and Dance music fell off the Mainstream radar soon after, but Humphries remained. In 1981 he got his first big break when legendary producer Shep Pettibone requested a Mix Tape from Tony to fill in for a no show on KISS FM NY. The mix he submitted proved a success an he was given his own permanant mix show at the station shortly after.

Alex Wilson

There are two artists with this name. 1. Alex Wilson is a Blues guitarist who picked up the guitar at five years old and never put it down. Immersed in the Milwaukee blues scene, Alex was surrounded, and influenced by such local luminaries as Stokes, Lee Gates, Jim Liban and Milwaukee Slim. Alex formed his own garage band at thirteen. By seventeen he began to dig deep into the blues, learning the songs and styles of masters such as Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix and Magic Sam.

Lil' Louis

Lil Louis is the stage name used by Chicago-born house music producer and DJ Louis Burns. He scored a number of hits on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the eighties and nineties, three of which hit #1.
His best known song, "French Kiss," featured vocals by Shawn Christopher and spent two weeks at #1 on the dance chart in 1989. The house track (now considered a classic) features a several-minutes-long breakdown in which the music gradually slowed down in tempo to a complete stop and left nothing but orgasmic moaning from Ms.
