:( otherwise known as Colon Open Bracket are a two piece, formerly a four piece, from Aberdeen, Scotland. They consist of Adam - Drums, and Mart - Vocals/Programming. Described as ‘NintendoCore’ (or "8bit") because of similarity between their sound and Mario & Tetris games of old. They have received some press coverage including articles in NME & Rock Sound, before a planned tour collapsed before it began.

8 Bit Love

8 Bit Love have been not-so-quietly making a name for themselves across their proclaimed home of Melbourne during the last two years. After walking away from 2010 with a few cool trophies under their belt, such as an APRA Songwriters Award and the VicRocks Get Equipped Grant, this year they’ve managed to play some extraordinary festivals and support shows, get in the studio, play across the state and release the single 3:32. Nothing is getting in the way from doing what they love: making music and making people dance.

Shirobon

This is Shirobon, an 18 year old producer/musician from London who creates a range of electronic music designed to please the ears.
Started in early 2008 he discovered a tracker type music sequencer for the Nintendo Gameboy called 'LSDJ'. He used this to create music via triggering loops created and placing them together to make bleepy type songs.
A year down the line and Shirobon has now blossomed in his ways of creating music.

Myth

There are several artists with the name Myth: 1) American progressive/metal band formed in the early 80's featuring Geoff Tate (later of Queensrÿche fame), Kelly Gray, Jimmy Parsons, Richard Gibson and Randy Gane. They recorded an unreleased album called Arabia with Brent Young on vocals. Some Myth songs got re-worked and appeared on early Queensrÿche releases (EP, The Warning and Rage for Order)

There are two artists called Godard: 1. Isle of wight punk band consisting of: Tristan Baker - Guitar, Vocals
Conall Jennings - Bass, Vocals
Charlie Pert - Drums. Vocals Godard is 3 friends in to similar music who decided to start making music in a garage on the Isle of Wight. They soon found themselves at Studio 5A recording a 3 track self titled EP to find out what other people thought of their music and you can download the finished product for free at http://godard.bandcamp.com.

There are three artists under the title Cheapshot: a dubstep and chiptune artist from Tokyo, a hiphop DJ from California, USA, and a now defunct punk band from Adelaide, South Australia. 1. Cheapshot is strongly influenced by dubstep bass lines, 8-bit music and all things that go BOOM! His chiptune monsters combine dub, uk funky, dubstep and breakbeat. His latest release is a 2 track EP on Metrodub. He has also released an EP on 8bitpeoples called 'zOMG!!'. His earlier works can be found on Amenorea Records, and Enough Records.

Game Over

There are several artists with this name: 1) Game Over is a heavy metal band from Sweden. It was formed in 1998 by guitarist Wire McQuaid (the stage name of Elisabeth Pezouvanis). Game Over's songs are arrangements of video game music, primarily that of games for the Nintendo Entertainment System such as The Legend of Zelda and Mega Man 2. Game Over has produced two demo albums: Nintendo Metal (2002) and NESperado (2006). Some of their songs are available free of charge at OverClocked ReMix.
