the kirkz were formed in Macclesfield in 1926 and after a short period covering popular jazz songs of the day they diversified into punk. in the 90's theline up consisted of colin, max, gary, ben and kirky. After a successful eviction of kirky ian took over on bass - side note: kirky then worked for a brief period at the shell garage where he swelled up. the kirks still play songs and drink too much. Transient names at least six musical entities. 1) Transient are a melodic hardcore band from Greenville, SC, United States. Forming in the fall of 2010, they started to gain recognition with their debut EP Alone, promoting their own brand of passionate modern hardcore, with strong and ambient melodic guitar riffs. They have released 2 EP's to date, Alone, a 5 song EP in May 2011, and their latest release We Do Not Lose Heart, a 3 song EP in March 2012. Both of these EP's can be downloaded from the bands Bandcamp page, with a donation scheme implemented for both.
LAST GANG IN TOWN were formed in the autumn of 2006 following an inspired internet search by bass player Gary. Four, like-minded blokes, strangers, living miles apart, but with 100% commitment and a real passion for Punk music, came together to form a band they'd always wanted to be a part of...an 'authentic' 70's Punk tribute band covering Punk classics by Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Damned, Dead Kennedys, The Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, The Ruts, UK Subs, Sham 69 and more..... music we grew up with.
Jason Forrest is an electronic music producer known for noisy experimental electronica and breakcore. Largely produced and performed on a single computer (including live shows), his songs tend to be constructed from digital samples of found sounds and other artists' music. Until 2004 he recorded under the name Donna Summer then in 2007 he began to re-use the updated "DJ Donna Summer" for the production an performance of dance music.
