Cissy
A bunch of excitable party people from Leeds, some of whom have played in bands such as The Dragon Rapide, The Lapse, Beards and Origami. Polyrhythmic, raucous, electrotastic elastic art-pop songs from the death-beds of Fela Kuti, James White, Captain Beefheart, Minutemen, The Meters and Talking Heads. They have toured with San Francisco's Origami and have played UK gigs with Cryptacize, James Chance and Les Contortions, DAT Politics, Fulborn Teversham, Orchestre Tout Puissant, Lovvers, played at Chinchillafest 2008 and loads more.
Endless Boogie
Meet Endless Boogie, the best-kept secret in New York's rock scene. The band's sound is a meltdown of metal, psychedelic and classic rock with a heavy dose of riffage, a kick-ass beat and super-cryptic lyrics. It's thunderous and mellow at once. To put it another way, it goes well with beer. They have the best name (taken from John Lee Hooker's 1971 album), the best onstage vibe and the best head-nodding jams.
Phase
There are multiple artists with this name: 1. Phase is a psychedelic rock band formed in Larissa, GR in 2003. 2. Phase is an incorrect machine tag for british techno producer Ashley Burchett's work.
1. The trip began in summer 2008 from when the party is collecting experiences and ideas which they are continuously filtering reaching to today
Max Waves
Check out the new album "Music for Microworlds"! Born in Treviso in March 1969, at the age of six Max Waves started studying the piano through private lessons, before entering the conservatory "B. Marcello" in Venezia in 1980.
A lifelong passion for computers and technology in general soon led him to prefer the study of the synthesizer rather than classical exercises to the point where he inevitably abandoned his academic studies and dedicated himself totally to electronic music.
Parlour
There are two artists named Parlour: (1): Mid-west post-rock group
(2): Swedish project releasing balearic/cosmic edits With regards to (1):
Parlour grew out of the Kentucky art/post-rock scene that produced such talents as Slint, Papa M, the Kilowatthours, and My Morning Jacket. The group layers gentle guitar chords, warm synthesizers, and down-tempo beats with Krautrock influences for multi-textured grooves that would make perfect company for Tortoise.
