James Murray is a composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist. His productions combine delicate sound design and manipulated acoustic recordings, and tend towards a low-tempo, reflective aesthetic. The critically acclaimed debut Where Edges Meet was released on Ultimae Records in 2008 and forms the centre-piece of a small, considered catalogue released internationally over a seven year period.

Dj Flux started out around 1999 in Brisbane Djing in a few places like Ric's Cafe and a few random coffe shops and pubs. Eventually he teamed up with Andrew Green to form the group - Kelly Green and produced a couple of mix tapes and an album called The Soylent EP. Around 2004 Dj Flux changed his name to vancouver sound and produced an album called Lost.
