Wo Fat

Tearing through the speakers like a swamp monster summoned from some dark cosmic morass, Texas riffmasters Wo Fat unapologetically blast out a southern fried, blues-infused version of Psychedelic Doom, conjuring up visions of hoodoo shacks, prowling undead, hell hounds at the crossroads, Lovecraftian cultists and ghouls, and worlds beyond where the riff reigns almighty. Wo Fat rose from the deep and began their psyche-doom-adelic quest circa 2003 when guitarist Kent Stump formed the band with drummer Michael Walter and bassist Tim Wilson.

G3 is an almost annual live music show and concert tour featuring three select guitarists of the generation; hence its name. It was created by guitarists Joe Satriani and Steve Vai in 1996. Since its inception G3 has featured many guitarists including: Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, Robert Fripp, Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Uli Jon Roth, Michael Schenker, Adrian Legg, Paul Gilbert and many other special guests, including Steve Lukather, Steve Morse and drummer Mike Portnoy. Gentlemen Of Distorted Sound

Back in the day a classic rock band was judged on good songs, good musicianship, good showmanship and a willingness to try new ideas – in other words to not be too predictable! It was these core values that brought original band members Gareth Nugent (vocals), Mako (guitar), Lawrence Santi (bass) and Russell Gilbrook (drums) together to form Gentlemen Of Distorted Sound in 2006. With influences ranging from 70’s classic rock to the 90’s grunge explosion the band set about honing their sound and writing songs.

Leadbelly

Huddie Ledbetter (23 January 1888-6 December 1949) was a leading American blues singer and guitarist. His songbook contained a large number of standard folk tunes, most adapted from previous sources. Though many of his posthumous releases list him as "Leadbelly," he himself spelled it "Lead Belly." This is also the usage on most of his original records, tombstone, as well as of the Lead Belly Foundation.

The idea to create a southern grind band that would up the ante in American grindcore came about in July 2002, exactly one day after the demise of founding members Chris Andrews and James Delgado's sludge band EOTS. Violent, blistering grind seemed like the only interesting option after wandering the destructive quagmire of slow-as-mud riffs and pummeling sound levels for a few years, learning their instruments and gaining stage experience.

He has also handled lead vocals and composed music for Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Lovage, Fantômas, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Moonchild Trio and Peeping Tom.
