Singapore Sling is a shoegaze band from Reykjavík, Iceland. As of 2009 they have released four albums and a best of compilation. Singapore Sling have supported The Brian Jonestown Massacre on their North American tours and covered Dirty Water a 1966 garage rock hit by The Standells in their debut album. They have also covered The Monks' I Hate You in the 2006 compilation Silver Monk Time: A Tribute to the Monks.
Martin Newell is Britain's most-published poet, as well as being the brains behind garage-pop combos "The Cleaners from Venus" and "The Brotherhood of Lizards". He's also a pretty mean gardener as well. His album "The Greatest Living Englishman" was produced and co-written with Andy Partridge of XTC fame. Indeed, the original Title of the album was "Martin Newell with Andy Partidge present..."
Opossom are a New Zealand trio featuring Kody Nielson and Michael Logie (formerly of The Mint Chicks) and Bic Runga. Their debut album "ELECTRIC HAWAII" was released June 1st, 2012 on Dark Summer Records.

From the damp and misty woods of New Hampshire emerges the second full length from psychedelic jam warriors MMOSS. The songs swirl and shimmer as the vocals waver and glide together like the trippiest acid test light show. 'Only Children' is a decidedly heavier trip than the debut album paring down the sheer number of tracks in favor of expanded blasts of musical mayhem.
Faris Badwan, frontman for UK indie rockers The Horrors, has a new project: Cat's Eyes, a duo with the Canadian opera soprano and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Zeffira. The group specializes in a glassy, symphonic take on girl-group pop, and they played their first show in December in a pretty unusual place: St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican, during an afternoon mass "attended by seven high-ranking cardinals," according to a press release. Brad from Seattle, Washington, USA formed officially in 1992 (though the members had been playing together for a long time before that) and in 1993 released their debut album Shame. Brad includes 4 friends from the Seattle area who are musicians, including Stone Gossard (of Pearl Jam fame), Regan Hagar (former member of an early grunge band Malfunkshun), Shawn Smith (also a member of Pigeonhed and Satchel) and Jeremy Toback also of Ons.
