Currently in Seattle, the three members have decided to travel the wilderness of the United States. Leif Anders sings longingly for a lost ideal over a driving, melodic bass line. Jessica B. plucks notes drenched in reverb on her guitar.

SONS OF GUNS -- THE TIMELINE December 2002 -- The Commune Mike and Greg meet. They become roommates in what would be known as an artist's commune in the small town of Union, Oregon. They begin to write songs together and put together an acoustic duet act. Some working titles for the two-man band are "Royal Blue" and "Curious Jones". November 2003 -- Operation Emerald They move to Seattle with little more than their guitars, hoping to absorb the juice of the previous and current musical heroes in that fine city, while on the lookout for a bassist and drummer to form a whole rock band.

Lockjaw

There is more than one Lockjaw: 1) Lockjaw was formed in Portland, Oregon around 1980 by Del Murry (guitar), Tony Arcudi (vocals), Eric Couch (bass), and Rob Parker (drums)... the band played clubs like The Met, 13th Precinct, and the Satyricon in the early days. By 1984 drummer Rob Parker was replaced with Jeremy J., and guitarist Garrett Garitano was added to the lineup. By that time Lockjaw was labeled "Portland's most hated band."

Ben Gibbard (born August 11, 1976 in Bremerton, Washington) is an American musician and songwriter who has formed several indie bands. He is most notable as the lead singer of Death Cab for Cutie; his other projects include The Postal Service and All-Time Quarterback. He has also created music under his name and under the band Pinwheel. Gibbard appeared as a guest on Jimmy Tamborello's (his Postal Service collaborator) Dntel album entitled Life is Full of Possibilities (2001) - Specifically, he contributed vocals to the song "(This Is) The Dream of Evan and Chan.

Brad from Seattle, Washington, USA formed officially in 1992 (though the members had been playing together for a long time before that) and in 1993 released their debut album Shame. Brad includes 4 friends from the Seattle area who are musicians, including Stone Gossard (of Pearl Jam fame), Regan Hagar (former member of an early grunge band Malfunkshun), Shawn Smith (also a member of Pigeonhed and Satchel) and Jeremy Toback also of Ons.
