Joe Chapman

Joe Chapman is a multi instrumentalist musician, singer, songwriter, producer and broadcaster from Oxford, England. He is the vocalist and bass guitarist with psych drone band The Neon Violets and runs Yurt Sessions which features bands, poetry, discussion and interviews broadcast live online from a Mongolian yurt. Joe is currently recording a solo album and looking for new musicians to join The Neon Violets.

Proximity Butterfly, Psychedelic / Punk / Rock from Chengdu (China), started in August 2003 by Joshua C. Love and Heather Judson. A full fledge orchestrated Mars volta-style entourage, PB is now far from their first album, arcana with two drummers, sound effect personas, saxaphone/clarinet/trumpet, bass, and guitar. Preparing for the release of "The Antikythera Mechanism" PB has stepped off of the ground to hit China's nationwide music festival scene from Shanghai to Chengdu and Inner Mongolia to shows in the hottest clubs and bars around the nation.

Darker My Love

Darker My Love is a psychedelic rock band based in Los Angeles, California. The band consists of 5 members. Tim Presley, a former member of the band The Nerve Agents and also a visual artist responsible for much of the band's imagery, contributes vocals and guitar. Andy Granelli, formerly a member of both The Nerve Agents and The Distillers, plays drums. They are accompanied by Rob Barbato, who plays bass and shares lead vocal duties with Presley, and Jared "The Sandwich" Everett on rhythm guitar.

The Morning After Girls

The Morning After Girls is a pop rock band, in the vein of The Dandy Warhols, The Vines and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, from Australia. The group originally formed in Melbourne around 2003, however in 2004 founding members Sacha Lucashenko (voice/guitars) and Martin B. Sleeman (guitars/voice) relocated to Sydney. The group has released two EPs, the first on Rubber Records in 2003 and the second on Fly Music in early 2005, both of which are self-titled. Mid to late 2005 they have toured with The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Steve Thompson

Steve Thompson is an independent singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist currently based in western Pennsylvania. In late 2004, he released his debut - The Enigmatic Standard (EP). Thompson has since released three full albums - Allusions To A God, Score, and NoVA. Each release by Thompson has showcased a different sound in the music ranging from folk rock to electronica. His live band features Stephen Peck (ex-Zao) on drums, Dave Trinh (ex-States of Melba) on saxophone, and Tony Regola on bass.

Ottawa, Canada's Daydream Nation features Pat Vaz (guitar/vocals) and Hunter Crowley (drums). Their self-titled debut album was released in October 2003 on the Los Angeles/Cleveland label Elephant Stone which drew praise from major publications such as The Big Takeover, Skyscraper, Exclaim, and Creem. Crowley got his start playing with The Last before doing time in The Brian Jonestown Massacre followed by recording and touring withThe Warlocks He joined Vaz for their own kind of neo-shoegazer mix in 2004.

Originally from the North, the Midlands and Ireland, Sergeant Buzfuz are a 6 piece beat combo based in South London whose line-up involving violins, dulcimer and mandolin is a mash-up of pop, psychedelia, Celtic folk, punk, improv and drone-rock. They are signed to the Blang label, home also to David Cronenberg’s Wife and Milk Kan. “One of my favourite songs for some time...
