Mr. Lif (born Jeffrey Haynes) is a Boston rapper who is currently signed to New York independent label Definitive Jux. Besides his solo career, Lif is also a member of the hip hop group The Perceptionists with long-time friends and collaborators Akrobatik and DJ Fakts One. Mr. Lif grew up in the neighbourhood of Brighton in Boston, MA. For two years he attended Colgate University, dropping out after becoming enamored with the hip hop music being produced at the time.

Fog is a name of at least five artists: 1) A pseudonym of Andrew Broder, who notably changes style from album to album. The first released was a self titled on Ninja Tune in 2002 after he was brought to the attention of the label by Doseone. Ether Teeth followed in 2003, Hummer EP in 2004, 10th Avenue Freakout in 2005, the Loss Leader EP in 2006 and most recently, Ditherer in 2007. Andrew collaborated with Jonathan 'Yoni' Wolf of Why? on the 2003 release Hymie's Basement on the London label Lex Records.

Faker is an Australian alternative rock band, formed in Sydney in 1996. The band consists of vocalist Nathan Hudson, drummer Evan Mannell, guitarist Nic Munnings, and bassist Ash Moss. Their touring keyboardist is Dizzi de Cazz. The band has released two studio albums, and despite forming in 1996, Faker's first studio album Addicted Romantic, was only released in 2005. Prior to that, the band played multiple local gigs, and also released two EPs. In 2007, Faker became a mainstream success with their second album, Be the Twilight, and went on to continue touring nationally.

Butterfly Boucher (pronounced 'bow-cher' with a hard "ch" sound, unlike the French pronunciation) is an Adelaide, Australian singer/songwriter. Boucher, born June 2, 1979, is the middle child of seven daughters. The name "Butterfly" was a suggestion from a friend of the family. Her mother didn't initially like the name but kept seeing butterflies in pictures, on clothing, etc. before the birth.
