Denmarks second capital Aarhus harboured their first two short playing EPs (released exclusively on 10 vinyl by Auditory Designs) and was a well-kept secret amongst DJs and nu jazz connoisseurs. By now the city once again lays ground to their fables from the World Seas. Analogik has settled as a quartet and invited additional guests for this first full cycle. Due to the foursomes different backgrounds, their music isnt easily categorised.

Verses are a band from Brighton formed in 2010. It is also the name of a solo artist:
Twenty-five years in the making. The concept of the Listening Session has been ingrained in the heart and mind of a Maryland emcee (by way of Cincinnati) who was first introduced to hip hop in the early 1980s. Verses has dropped a CD for the listener, by a listener. Throughout Listening Session you can hear the influences that classic hip hop had on Verses.
Jan Jelinek (whose monikers include Gramm, for Source Records, and Farben), is a Berlin-based producer of electronic music drawing influences from jazz, dub, funk, soul, and house. Prior to releasing on the ~Scape label under his own name, he had put out albums as Farben (for Klang Elektronik). On 2001's Loop-Finding-Jazz-Records, Jelinek manipulates fragments of sound from old jazz recordings, transforming them beyond recognition into completely new pieces of music. On la nouvelle pauvrete, he joins forces with the imaginary band The Exposures, which he himself fabricated.
There are several artists who have used this name. Below are a few.
---------- 1) Skye Edwards is a British singer, born 1974 in south east London. Until 2003, she was and now again is, the lead singer of the band Morcheeba. Edwards decided to shorten her name to Skye by taking the first letter of each of her names (Shirley Klarisse Yonavive) and putting them together. She has also sung on two charity collaborations, Perfect Day 1997, in aid of BBC Children in Need and Band Aid 20, in 2004, in aid of famine relief in Sudan, Africa. Edwards has two children, a son and a daughter.
Jazziz praised Brazilian guitarist Badi Assad (pronounced Bah-Jee Ah-Sahje) as "a virtuoso of the highest order" while Guitar Player pegged her as "fearless!" Wonderland, her second for Deutsche Grammophone is not only an album fantasy and hope; it is also a plea for some sanity in this insane world of ours. The CD touches on many taboo topics including rape, prejudice, child prostitution and loss of cultural identity.
