Lund Quartet

Lund Quartet are an instrumental band from Bristol. They are heavily influenced by the Scandinavian jazz scene and turntablism, using samples of Bristol's finest musicians recorded especially for the band and creatively played back through turntables along side a more traditional jazz line up of piano, drums and double bass. Their sound morphs effortlessly from gentle and reflective, to heavy grooves.

There are two artists going by the name Heatbeat: 1). An Argentine duo. Heatbeat Music is formed by 2 young Argentine DJs and producers, Matias Faint (23 years old) and Agustin Servente (21 years old). This duo was created in the middle of 2006. As children, Matias and Agustin were influenced by artists like The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, BT, Judge Jules, Paul van Dyk and more. Their productions range from progressive trance, electro trance, tech-trance, uplifting trance, Nu trance (or also known like Minimal trance).

Tina Bridgman… the musical life of… I write this from my little home in the hills nestled in the trees, overlooking mountains and turquoise seas and I am so happy & grateful to be alive. For as long as I can remember, I have always played music… playing in 20/30 piece orchestras at school, brass bands, choirs and making up the odd tune on the keyboards at home My "career" as a guitarist started at 13, teaching myself and jamming with friends. I joined my first band, Catch 22, at 17 as a backing vocalist and keyboard player performing in the south-west of UK every weekend for two years.

Born Montgomery Bernard Alexander on June 6, 1944 in Kingston, Jamaica, Monty Alexander is a jazz pianist whose style is influenced by strong Caribbean and swing feeling. A musician of a great versatility, this piano virtuoso has covered wide range of musical genres in his career from jazz to reggae, playing with either small bands or an orchestra. "My goal is to uplift", says Alexander. “The piano, to me, is a vehicle for connecting to other human beings. I'm very open to all forms of music. I'm not a bebop musician, I'm not a calypso musician, I'm not a reggae musician.
