Smash TV
Smash TV used to be Holger Zilske & Michael Schmidt, but Michael left the band. They've released a dozen 12'' and an album in Berlin label BPitch Control, gaining some success in the tech-house scene. Holger's webpage is http://www.myspace.com/holgerzilske
Peter Astor
Peter Astor is a British singer and multi-intrumentalist, best known for his work with The Weather Prophets and Ellis Island Sound. Following the sensational disbandment of his first band The Loft and the subsequent dissolution of The Weather Prophets, singer and guitarist Peter Astor embarked upon a solo career. His close links with Alan McGee helped to secure a contract with Creation Records, with whom he released two albums - Submarine (1990) and Zoo (1991).
Sex Gang Children
Sex Gang Children is an early gothic rock group that formed in the early 1980s in Britain. They were a very dramatic band, relying on heavy bass, tribal drumming, sudden mood shifts, a woozy cabaret ready sound that influenced the rise of the later dark cabaret scene, and yet another in a long line of goth singers with an odd, highly dramatic voice. Although the group only released one official album, their singles and various other tracks have been packaged into numerous collections, and they remain one of the better known bands out of the early goth scene.
Dominik Eulberg
Dominik Eulberg, born in 1978 in Westerwald, Germany is an electronic music artist and DJ who has released numerous singles as well as full-length albums on labels such as cocoon recordings and Traum Schallplatten. He occasionally works as park ranger in German National parks, an occupation he plans to pursue full time in the near future after retiring from music. Dominik's fascination for electronic music began at a very young age.
Zammuto
Nick Zammuto is half of the band The Books. Zammuto is his solo project. He is currently working on a full length record to be released in early 2012. He is releasing working versions of the tracks as they are finished from zammutosound.com and his soundcloud page. The new tracks are titled: Yay, Groan Man Don't Cry, Idiom Wind, Too Late to Topologize, and FU-C3PO.
*The Books have released four LPs between 2002 and 2010: All are currently on the label Temporary Residence in NYC.
Julian Plenti
Interpol's lead singer and guitarist Paul Banks released a solo album under the name Julian Plenti, and has written and performed under the Plenti moniker for several years, according to a source close to the situation. While the album was recorded recently, some of the songs were written more than ten years ago. He's done a lot of work with Niall Darcy, with whom there has been a long time mutual admiration.
Robert Mitchell 3io
Robert Mitchell 3io is an up-and-coming jazz trio based in London, UK. Their debut album "The Greater Good" was named album of the year by the BBC.
Anne Clark
For more than 30 years Anne Clark has held a unique place in contemporary music.
Combining literary, socially engaged texts with innovative and genre-breaking music, she has covered every kind of style, while at the same time maintaining her own identity on each and every recording, whether it be the samples (before sampling became a concept) and electronically treated acoustics of The Sitting Room (1982), to the ground-breaking analogue synth classics of Sleeper In Metropolis (1983) and Our Darkness (1984).
