POLYSICS

POLYSICS is a Japanese new wave/synth pop/punk/rock band, hailing from Tokyo. The band started in 1997, but got their big break in 1998 at a concert in Tokyo. They create high energy music, fusing conventional guitar music, with synthesized and computer generated sound to create a unique mixture of punk and electro-pop. Their song lyrics often consist of Japanese, English, or just plain gibberish. The band has been noted for their extremely energetic live performances and their wild gimmicky outfits.

1) CRAZE was a Japanese rock band consisting of vocalist TUSK (Tasuka Itaya, 板谷祐; ex Zi:Kill) guitarist CIPHER (Ichiro Takigawa, 瀧川一郎; ex D'ERLANGER) bassist Seiichi Iida (飯田成一; ex Zi:Kill) and drummer Tetsu Kikuchi (菊地哲; ex D'ERLANGER, Zi:Kill). They played their final live without TUSK on 9 January 2006.
2) DJ Craze (Arith Delgado) is a DJ who plays hip hop, breaks, drum n bass, and practices turntablism. He is the only solo DJ in history to claim the World DMC Champion trophy 3 times consecutively.

They have gained very notable success in Europe and North America, however. They boast a fairly electric sound though seem to gravitate often to a syncopated drum-and-guitar assault. DéspairsRay's sound is dark, sinister and schizophrenic. The vocalist, hizumi, goes from dark screaming and growling to letting loose with a smooth, soulful cry on most songs.

In November 1997 Sid formed the Platypus Ensemble, a Finnish jazz band.

GACKT (神威楽斗, Kamui Gakuto, born July 4, 1973) is a singer, songwriter, model, designer, actor, voice actor, author, poet and multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, violin, drums, bass, trumpet, tuba, french horn, trombone, and so on...) famous in Japan. Further info: 2) Heartless is a hard rock/hair metal band formed in Tampa in the late 80s and performed together for several years. Through the later 90s, the band transformed and became 'Kenne McGey and Lefty' and are still active in local Tampa scene.

Bug is a common band name and refers to more than one band. One Bug is rock band based in Tokyo, Japan. They mix elements of synthpop, industrial, metal, punk, trip-hop and j-pop. They formed in 2001 and have been annually releasing albums and EPs.
