8otto (the "8" is not pronounced) is a four-member rock band hailing from Osaka, Japan. Originally formed by drummer/vocalist Maenosono Masaki and guitarist Ryo in 1999 as Sugar For A Dime, the band adopted their current name in 2004, and released their first album we do viberation in 2006. To date, all of their studio albums have been produced by Yoshioka Toshikazu (a.k.a. BohQun) who has also written many of their songs.

Now they're in process to make debut EP.

Abingdon Boys School (A.B.S.) is a Japanese rock band formed in 2005. The members are Nishikawa Takanori (T.M.Revolution) on vocals, SUNAO on guitar, Shibasaki Hiroshi on electric guitar and Kishi Toshiyuki on keyboards. SUNAO and Shibasaki are also involved in T.M.Revolution's backup band. Toshiyuki had arranged several songs on T.M.Revolution's 2006 album "UNDER:COVER". Nishikawa is well recognized among the Japanese media as a singer and producer.

Vamps

There are at least 2 bands/artists with the name Vamps. 1) VAMPS is a Japanese unit by Hyde (lead vocalist of L'Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z (guitarist of Oblivion Dust, hide with Spread Beaver and Spin Aqua). HYDE and K.A.Z have been working together since HYDE's third solo album FAITH, which was released in 2006. In early spring 2008, they announced the name-change for HYDE's solo project - and officially formed a band. One of the reasons being to give more credit to K.A.Z for his work. Thus VAMPS was born.

The Dynamites

There have been at least five bands called The Dynamites.
1. An instrumental/beat band from Sarpsborg, Norway who excisted from 1958-1966. They released two singles on the Troll label and did a tour of East Germany in 1965. Two of the members went on to the group The Divorced.
2. A garage/R&B/freakbeat band from Basel, Switzerland.
3. A 60s garage rock band from Japan (????????) which featured a slide guitar (unusual for a Japanese band at the time).
