1) Black Rain, the NYC post punk / industrial group began in '89 with Stuart Argabright, Bones, Shin Shimokawa , Thom Furtado and Dave Vulcan, emerging out of the ruins of seminal post-punk outfit Ike Yard. After playing CBGB's, The Bank, Tompkins Square Park show commemorating the Riots there and the last GG Allin show at the Gas Station on LES ( Lungcast cassette ), this phase of the group went on to work in the Studio with Roy Mayorga (Thorn / StoneSour ) on drums and guitar riffage.

Kimbra, born and bred in Hamilton, New Zealand has been writing a fusion of jazz and soul for over 5 years, known for her erratic but graceful voice inspired by the likes of Björk and Jeff Buckley. Kimbra's first success was in 2004, receiving Second place in the Smokefree Rockquest along with Best Vocals and Womens Musicianship. Before her debut album, Kimbra released 2 singles: 'Simply On My Lips' and 'Deep For You'. Kimbra's debut album, Vows was released in 2011. Garbage is a Scottish-American alternative rock band formed in 1994 at Madison, Wisconsin, USA. The group members are Shirley Manson (vocals, guitars), Steve Marker (guitars, keyboards), Duke Erikson (guitars, keyboards, bass), and Butch Vig (drums, percussion). Shawn Colvin
Shawn Colvin (born January 10, 1956 in Vermillion, South Dakota) is an American musician. Best known for her hit single "Sunny Came Home" from the album "A Few Small Repairs". Colvin's formative years were spent in the town of Carbondale, Illinois, where she attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She learned to play guitar at the age of 10. Her first public concert was at age 15 at the University of Illinois campus. Colvin cites Joni Mitchell as a primary influence on her music, and her initial performances closely mirrored Mitchell's inflections and guitar tunings.
