Jim Bob

Jim Bob was born James Robert Morrison in the city of London, on 22 November 1960. He changed his name because he did not want to be mistaken for, in his own words, "a fat, dead, crap poet" - ie the former singer of The Doors. He played in various bands during the 1980s, one of which was Jamie Wednesday, who were performing between 1985 and 1987. In 1987 Jamie Wednesday split up just before a gig at the Astoria in London. Morrison and Les Carter aka 'Fruitbat' filled in playing along to a backing tape and thus Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine was born.
