Power metal

There are at least two bands called Heavy Load: 1) Heavy Load was formed in 1976 by the brothers Ragne (vocals and guitar) and Styrbjörn Wahlquist (vocals and drums), together with bassist Michael Backlund.
In 1977 Heavy Load recorded their first album "Full Speed at High Level" (released 1978), now with Dan Molén on the bass. After their debut, Ex-Highbrow guitarist was added to the lineup as well as Torbjörn Ragnesjö (A cousin of the Wahlquist brothers), replacing Dan Molén.

An early years style power metal band with a rough edge. Think NWOBHM, just 30 years too late! Formed from the ashes of East Midlands Power-Thrash band In The Ravens Name and Melodic Death band Scramasax, Death Knell count Venom, Helloween, Gravedigger, Iced Earth, Sabaton and Judas Priest as their principle influences. 7: A French musician releasing on AIR's Record Makers label. 1: Damien is a hardcore/metal-band (the expression is worn out, but it works) hailing from Karlstad, Sweden. The band was formed in early 2003 by four guys with lots of experience from other Swedish bands, some more successful than others.

Luca Turilli's Rhapsody is the name of the new band of the Italian composer Luca Turilli due to the friendly split between Luca Turilli and Alex Starpoli (main composers of the bands Rhapsody and Rhapsody of Fire). The addition of Luca's name before Rhapsody is due to the same legal reasons of the past not allowing him to use the word Rhapsody alone. The first album Ascending To Infinity would be released in late june 2012. Discography:
