Rhapsody

There is more than one band by the name Rhapsody: 1) Rhapsody (now known as Rhapsody of Fire) is a band from Italy, but have been "on hold" since 2008. A new album has been announced, "The Frozen Tears of Angels", billed for release in March. They incorporate music, and styles. The classical influences include such composers as Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Niccolò Paganini, and Antonin Dvořák. Their songs are also heavily influenced by power metal in general and their lyrics are fantasy-themed.

Manowar

Manowar is an American classic style heavy metal band from Auburn, New York that prominently features mythology and fantasy in their lyrics as well as songs about Heavy Metal and a theme of comradeship with rebellious attitude. Manowar was founded by bassist Joey DeMaio and guitarist Ross "Ross the Boss" Friedman in 1980. Joey DeMaio was a bass/pyro technician for Black Sabbath, who were playing a show in England at the time, and Ross the Boss was the guitarist of a band called Shakin' Street.

They released a split 7" with The Candyland Carcrash entitled "A Rocket Trip to the Moon" (1995, Small Craft Advisory, SCA #001), a Self-Titled 7" (1995, Static, STATIC #003) and had a song on the "There Is a Light" compilation 12" (1997, Red Jagwire/Grimmlake)

Nevermore

Nevermore is an American progressive metal band from Seattle, Washington. Their precise musical style is debated by fans and critics alike. The band incorporates elements from styles such as Doom, Thrash, Power, and progressive metal into their songs, and also makes use of acoustic guitars and a wide range of vocal styles. They started in the beginning of the 1990s, when the band Sanctuary was pressured by its recording label to change its musical style, switching from heavy metal to grunge, which was obtaining mainstream success at the time due to bands such as Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

Graveworm

Originating from Bruneck, Italy, Graveworm are a melodic/symphonic black metal band with influence of gothic metal. They were formed in 1997, and are themed towards sadness, death, love and occult. Even before Graveworm released any demo they got signed by Serenades Records, who saw an incredible show of the band close to their hometown Brunico. A demo was produced straight after, featuring classic hymns like "Eternal Winds" or "When The Sky Turns Black", which were featured on their debut album "When Daylight’s Gone".

1. overlord is an indie pop band from Brooklyn, NY. Overlord is on an indie label, Storm Tower Records, and has released 5 full-length records and 2 EPs. The band consists of: Tris McCall, Matt Houser, Sarah Brockett, and George Pasles. Kalmah

Kalmah is a band from Pudasjärvi, Finland. They are influenced by a high velocity brand of European Melodic Death Metal similar to that of metal bands like Children Of Bodom and Norther. The quintet formed in the autumn of 1999 following the demise of its first incarnation, Ancestor. In less than a year after its birth, Kalmah was signed by Spikefarm Records, a division of the Finnish label Spinefarm.
