There are three groups called Manners. 1. Manners is a hardcore band from New Haven/Hartford, Connecticut, formed in 2010. The band is composed of vocalist Chris Hague, guitarists Ian Edgerly and Jay Holmes, bassist Michael Magas, and drummer Danny Sheridan. Penelope Houston was the lead singer, primary songwriter, and her persona was a large part of the draw for the act. The other band members were James Wilsey (bass), D. Furious (drums), and Greg Ingraham (guitar). Critic Greil Marcus once said The Avengers were, “…San Francisco’s best punk band - in their moments, they were, you knew, better than any other band playing that night anywhere in the world.”

The Directions were a british mod revival band. The full line up of the band was John Burke (vocals) , Tony Burke (guitar,vocals and songwriter) , Martin Wilson (bass & vocals) , Steve Martinez (Drums) and Nick Simmons (Keyboards). Brothers John and Tony formed the band with Martin in December 1978, Steve joined the following April and Nick later on.The bands influence was David Bowie. They got there name from an old song.
