Revenance is a from New York formed in 2002. , they have a self released EP "All Shall Suffer" released in 2003 and a second EP called "Somebody Kill Something", in 2004, which lead to them signing to a label. Their debut full-length album "Omen Of Tragedy" was released by Permeated Records in 2006. Alternatively, there is another band called Revenance hailing from Barnsley, England. They play melodic, catchy death metal and after releasing their first album in 2006, they are set to bring out a new record in 2009, recording with the prestigious producer, Jason Sanderson.

Granville Bantock

Sir Granville Bantock (August 7, 1868 - October 16, 1946), was a British composer of classical music. Bantock was born in London. A close friend of fellow composer Havergal Brian, he was professor of music at the University of Birmingham from 1908 to 1934 (in which post he succeeded Sir Edward Elgar). In 1934, he was elected Chairman of the Corporation of Trinity College of Music in London. He was knighted in 1930.
