Power metal

Moonsorrow is a pagan metal band formed in Helsinki, Finland, in 1995. Musically, the band incorporates elements of black metal and folk metal in their sound. The band call their sound "epic heathen metal" and try to distance themselves from the term "viking metal". The group's earliest formation consisted of cousins Ville Sorvali (vocals and bass) and Henri Sorvali (guitar and keyboards; also keyboards for Finntroll, Barathrum, and session member of Ensiferum) who released various demos that were much more characteristic of melodic black metal than future releases.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Brainstorm is a power/thrash metal band from Germany, formed in 1989. The band features American born lead singer Andy B. Franck, who is also famous for his other band, Symphorce. They are known to play a somewhat darker style of music than most power metal groups. Formed in 1989 by Torsten Ihlenfeld and Milan Loncaric on guitars and Dieter Bernert on drums, Brainstorm released their first demo "Hand Of Doom" after one year of existence.

There are four bands named "Amazon": (1) A NWOBHM band formed in 1981 in UK. They released one single in 1981 called "Hypnotizing You". Line up:

(2) Melodic Metal/Rock band formed in 2002 in Brazil. They released one single in 2002 called "While There Is Time" and a full lenght album in 2004 called "Victoria Regia" and one DVD in 2004 called "Ao Vivo Em São Paulo (Via Funchal)".

Crows is a german power metal band formed in 1981, by Ex-members of Wolf Spider, Scanner, Mekong Delta, Sodom and Angel Dust, they recorded a number of demos throughout the 80's and only one album, The Dying Race in 1991, via Century Media records, the band broke up shortly after.
