"Daniel W J Mackenzie AKA Ekca Liena burst into our ears a few years back with his debut “Slow Music For Rapid Eye Movement”; an album of richly detailed ambience, electronica and post rock that contained the massive “Fire Emerging From Mist”. Since then a series of releases have been issued, explorations of far out celelstial tones, classically inspired instrumentation and hints of doom and decay.

Demons

There are more than one artists called Demons. 1. Wolf Eyes’ member Nate Youngs and Steve Kenney formed the noise drone duo Demons in late 2006. 2. The Japanese metal/hardcore/new wave band DEMONS released their first album GOETIA in 2007. They were also featured on the Tokyo Dark Castle compilation the same year. An alternate tag for them: デモンズ. Members:

NorthBorne

"NorthBorne" is all about electronic experiments, electronic beats, happiness, aggression, pleasure from pain and monotone grooves. All programming and production by Christian Lund, who also has been playing with Icon Of Coil since 2000. Additional production and programming by Alexander Coucheron Jarl. NorthBorne is signed to Out Of Line Records in Germany, and the debut EP was released as a bonus disc on the ever popular Out of Line sampler "Industrial for the Masses vol. 3" in August 2006.

Rough-edged laptop electronica from Australia. Halfway between Eno and Oval, with a kind of punk energy that pulls the thing along. Fantastic. Lillian Gish is an 'Avant-Gaze' / Psychedelic Noise Rock group from London, England. They are based at different times in London, Glasgow and Brighton. Birchville Cat Motel

Birchville Cat Motel is a one-man experimental music project formed by Campbell Kneale from Wellington, New Zealand. Although largely unknown in his home country, Kneale has toured throughout Japan, America, Europe, and Australia. His first vinyl release was Jewelled Wings on the Freedom From label. His music is largely made up of ambient soundscapes, spanning from 6 minutes to a full forty minutes.

Lustmord

Brian Williams is a British electronic musician often credited for creating the genre with albums recorded under the name Lustmord. Williams started recording as Lustmord in 1980 before joining SPK in 1982.
Lustmord has extracted field recordings made in crypts, caves, and slaughterhouses, and combined it with occasional ritualistic incantations and Tibetan horns. His treatments of acoustic phenomena encased in digitally expanded bass rumbles have a dark ambient quality.

Yasunao Tone

YASUNAO TONE (刀根康尚) was one of the first Japanese artists active in composing "events" and improvisational music. He has been active in the Fluxus movement since 1962 and has also been an organizer and participant in many important music and performance groups such as Group Ongaku, Hi-Red Center, Team Random (the first computer art group organized in Japan). Primarily a composer, Tone has worked in many media, creating pieces for electronics, computer systems, film, radio and television, as well as environmental art.
