JOB KARMA - set up in 1997, is an audiovisual project from Wroclaw that explores the trans-ambient area of postindustrial aesthetics. The band was formed by Maciek Frett and Aureliusz Pisarzewski. The visual side of the project is the scope of Arek Baginski's contribution. In their suggestive live shows they combine performance and video art showing the relations human - machines and machine - sacrum.
Hands of Ruin is a pseudonym of London, UK's Colin Z. Robertson, who also releases music as c.z.robertson. Brian Williams is a British electronic musician often credited for creating the dark ambient genre with albums recorded under the name Lustmord. Williams started recording as Lustmord in 1980 before joining SPK in 1982.
Lustmord has extracted field recordings made in crypts, caves, and slaughterhouses, and combined it with occasional ritualistic incantations and Tibetan horns. His treatments of acoustic phenomena encased in digitally expanded bass rumbles have a dark ambient quality.

Downfall was a ska and punk band from the Bay Area formed by Tim Armstrong, Matt Freeman, Dave Mello, Pat Mello, and Jason Hammon following the break-up of Operation Ivy in 1989 and pre-dating Armstrong's and Freeman's wider recognition in Rancid.
