Takehisa Kosugi

Takehisa Kosugi (????; surname Kosugi; b. Tokyo, Japan, 1938) is a Japanese composer and performer working in the field of contemporary classical music. He is associated with the Fluxus movement, worked with John Cage and David Tudor, and has served as music director for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. He was also a member of Taj Mahal Travellers. His primary instrument is the violin. Kogusi studied musicology at the Tokyo University of Arts, graduating in 1962. During this period he began multi-instrumental improvisation.

Supreme Dicks

Underground avant-garde alternative rock band of the 1980s and 1990s. Originally based in Amherst, Massachusetts at Hampshire College, and at times also based in New York City, Seattle and Los Angeles. Arose in the same college musical scene that gave birth to Dinosaur Jr and also associated with the early grunge movement, especially the Seattle grunge bands including Nirvana. Known for four albums, very noisy concerts and band members' disputatious and disruptive attitude.

Loop

1) Loop was a South London band founded in 1986 by Robert Hampson and his then wife, Bex. Loop's sound was characterized by strong and influences in addition to the minimalist mayhem of The Stooges and MC5. Their songs were almost uniformly harsh and repetitive, with indecipherable vocals buried under layers of noisy guitar riffs and metronomic drumming. Some of the records featured covers of Suicide, The Pop Group and Can as bonus tracks.

Chateau Marmont

Four Frenchmen, childhood friends, united in their love of synth music: dare we say it’s a tale of mystery and imagination, of friendship and self-discovery? Chateau Marmont’s story is half Stand By Me, half Solaris, half Logan’s Run and, yes, it doesn’t add up. They’ve known each other since forever, as children stranded in a hostile landscape dominated by hypertrophied bullies and pathetic louts. They found themselves and each other through synthetic music, so bright and remote in its promises of infinity and eternal bliss, so hard, cold and disturbing when its outlook turns dystopian.

Brutus

There are at least five artists called Brutus: - 1, a hardcore band from Asturias, Spain. Formed in June 2008, Brutus gave their first show one month later. From then onwards Brutus has released a self-titled EP in July 2009, recorded at KTC Domestic Productions which was presented in numerous places, mainly in the north of Spain, sharing stage with bands like For the Glory or Avenues and Silhouettes. Brutus has announced that they will release a new work in February 2012. We don't know the title yet, but it is taken for granted that this new album will please all their fans.

King's X is an American hard rock / heavy metal band noted for its spiritual lyrics and sophisticated musical styles which include, but are not limited to, blues, progressive rock, grunge and psychedelic. The group traces its beginnings to 1980, when Doug Pinnick and Jerry Gaskill, who had previously met while recording and touring with Phil Keaggy and touring with the band Petra, recruited Ty Tabor to join them.

Emeralds

There are at least two acts called Emeralds: 1) Emeralds are an ambient / drone / psychedelic music trio from Cleveland, Ohio, United States. John Elliott, Mark McGuire and Steve Hauschildt began playing music together under the name Fancelions in 2005 in Cleveland's western suburbs of Bay Village and Westlake. However, due to a desire to simplify and focus more on live improvisation, they re-formed as Emeralds, playing their first show under that name in June 2006.
