Ping Pong

1) PING PONG: Ping Pong is a jazz-rock and progressive band from Italy, borned from early 70's. In 1971 the band members were Mauro Falzoni (guitar, voice), Celso Valli (keyboards), Paride Sforza (sax, clarinet), Alan Taylor (bass, voice), Vittorio Volpe (drums). But in 1973 joins the group Giorgio Bertolani (voice). The albums of this band are About Time (1971) and Ping Pong (1973). 2) Ping Pong (ピンポン, Pin Pon?) is a 2002 sports film directed by the Japanese filmmaker Fumihiko Sori.

Israel Ka'ano'i Kamakawiwo'ole was born May 20, 1959 to Henry (aka Tiny) KaleiAloha Naniwa Kamakwiwo`ole Jr. and Evangeline Leinani (Keale) Kamakawiwo`ole. He lived the first 10 years of his life in Palolo Valley on O'ahu. Then the family moved to Makaha. He started playing music with his older brother Skippy when he was just 11 years old. But that isn't surprising, as Israel came from a musical family. His uncle is Moe Keale, a living legend in Hawai.

7. A hip-hop artist/rapper from New Jersey. 1) Jericho is an israeli hard/progressive/psychedelic rock ensemble that recorded only one, self-titled, album in 1972. Band started in 1965, in Israel, as The Churchills, later they moved to England, changed their's name to Jericho Jones, next to Jericho and signed up canadian guitarist Robb Huxley.

Tamar Eisenman

Tamar Eisenman was born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1980. She spent part of her childhood in San Francisco before returning to Israel. She now resides in Jerusalem which is the base for her music work. Tamar is a singer songwriter and a guitar player. In her songs Tamar is serving a mixture of crisp guitars and feminine groove.
In 2003 Tamar released an EP that was recorded at her home studio. A year and a half later, in 2005, Tamar released her debute LP named '5feet4'.

Spirits

There are three bands known to have used this name. 1. 2013 - Present: Rock band from London, England.
Band Members: Alex Davies (Vocals/guitar), Dan Mount (Bass), Bob Barrett (Drums)
Following the hiatus of the band Elliot Minor, frontman Alex went on to form a new band.
Their first single ‘Sweet Dynamite’ was released via PledgeMusic in January 2013. 2. Spirits (Slovenia) also known as "Night Spirits" are a grunge rock group from Izola (Slovenia), active in the 90's. They released his first and only album "Zemljin Krik" (Earth's Scream) in 1999.

BOOM PAM

In the summer of 2003 Boom Pam started gaining popularity in the Tel Aviv music scene, playing at night clubs and parties. The band consists of two electric guitars, a tuba and drums. Boom Pam’s original music and arrangements of Balkan, Jewish, Greek and Mediterranean songs, seasoned with dueling guitars and a rock attitude, brought the crowds to the centre of the dance floor and gave their live shows the atmosphere of an alcohol soaked wedding party.

Natalie Portman (Hebrew: נטלי פורטמן‎; born June 9, 1981) is an Academy Award winning Israeli-American actress. Portman began her career in the early 1990s, turning down the opportunity to become a child model in favor of acting. Her first role came in the 1994 independent film Leon: The Professional, however her breakout role did not come until she was cast as Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy.[1]

The Apples

There are two bands with the name The Apples. The first is an Acid Jazz group from Israel. The other is a girl group from Czech Republic who perform 60's music. The first group began in Israel in 2002 with the core of electronic artists Schoolmaster & Mixmonster and the steadfast rhythm unit of Shai Ran and Yoni Halevy. Yair Dalal

Yair Dalal (born 1955) is a composer, violinist and oud player and is probably the most prolific Israeli ethnic musician today, with global recognition (WOMAD appearances from Seattle to Sydney).
Over the last decade he has put nine albums, covering wide and varied cultural territory. Much of Dalal's output reflects the strong affinity he has for the desert and its habitants. Dalal's family came to Israel from Baghdad and he has included much Iraqi material in his work to date.
