Ophelia
There is more than one artist with the name Ophelia: 1. Ophelia are a metal band hailing from Chelmsford, Essex. Formed in late 2008, the band immediately started writing material and playing gigs in the local area. The spring of 2009 saw the band recording their debut E.P. at CDS Studios in Essex. By summer artwork and design had been finished, and the band raised money for CD replication throughout the autumn using a ‘presale scheme' that allowed fans to preorder and pay for the E.P. before it came out, ensuring them a signed copy.

HaWthorn
HaWthorn is a neofolk cooperation of Tony Wakeford (Sol Invictus) and Matt Howden (Sieben). Together they have developed an experimental take on modern folk, with their vocals and Matt's violin leading the way in almost every song. They have released one album so far, The Murky Brine (2004), and have appeared on the writ in Water split with Sol Invictus and Sieben with two tracks. They have also released two albums under the name of Howden/Wakeford.

Kronos Quartet, Kimmo Pohjonen & Samuli Kosminen
Uniko is a seven-part work composed by Pohjonen and Kosminen which had its World Premiere concert with Kronos Quartet at the prestigious Helsinki Festival in 2004. Subsequent Uniko performances took place in Moscow, Norway and eventually led to its North American Premiere with three sold-out concerts at the BAM NEXT WAVE Festival in New York in 2007. Uniko was recorded at Avatar Studios in NYC immediately following the BAM concerts with production by Iceland’s Valgeir Sigurdsson, known for his work with Björk and others.

Rose Rovine e Amanti is a musical project based in Rome lead by Damiano Mercuri aided by Noemi York Christian Valente and Giuseppe Lorenzoni. The sound has changed through the years from a pure neo-folk to a wider range of sounds. The music is a brilliant mixture of acoustic neofolk-rock with some bitter songwirtin’ tunes. Bark Cat Bark is the instrumental music project of multi-instrumentalist Josh Todd (born 18 April 1990). His music is recognized by its use of a large variety of instruments in relatively minimalist compositions, often with a touch of either European classical music or French folk music, using primarily the violin, piano and accordion with stranger instruments such as the Gayageum, Xaphoon and Kuhlohorn He has been compared to musicians such as Yann Tiersen, Zach Condon, and Owen Pallett.
