Terry Garoghan

There's is no better person to lead you through the streets and suburbs of Brighton than the self appointed Unofficial Mayor himself. Terry carries the whole show single handed, for this is his affectionate tribute to the place where he was born and bred. The local paper called it "brilliant and witty". It is also a big bellylaugh in a naughty seaside postcard kind of way. Quintessentially Brighton is Brighton the Musical.

Dustin O'Halloran

A self-taught pianist from the age of 7, Dustin O'Halloran's personal histories give us some clue to the thickly-woven tapestries of his music: he has lived in LA (where he studied art at Santa Monica College and formed the much-adored Devics with Sara Lov), Italy (in the depths of rural Emilia Romagna) and Berlin. His arresting, heartbreaking music is as much an elegant exercise in nuance and grace as it is a pure, intuitive, personal expression – and here is where we see some explanation into Dustin's quiet rise to notoriety and his continued ascension.

Braid

Braid is an American band from Urbana, Illinois that formed in 1993. After forming, the band went through several line-up changes but eventually settled on Bob Nanna on vocals and guitar, Todd Bell on bass, Chris Broach on guitar and vocals and Roy Ewing on drums. Roy was replaced in 1997 by Damon Atkinson. In 1999 Braid disbanded and went on to form Hey Mercedes with all band members minus Chris Broach (who went on to form The Firebird Band) and adding Mark Dawursk. The band reformed for a US tour in 2004 and, now that Hey Mercedes are defunct, apparently intend to tour sporadically.

Raketkanon

A band from Belgium
Raketkanon’s debutalbum brings some steaming noiserock with elements of the Melvins sludgy sound, Tomahawk’s experiment and the chaotic pyschedelia of the early Butthole Surfers.
All four members have a strong musical cv with vocalist Pieter Paul Devos having his other band Kapitan Korsakov, tomàn drummer Lode Vlaeminck switching here to bassynths, drummer Pieter De Wilde being active as well in Raveyards and guitarplayer Jef Verbeeck having a past in several extreme metalbands.
