Sal Paradise

The Australian band Sal Paradise was the first non-American band on Tooth & Nail Records. 'Furthur' is their only release on T&N. The music is best described as indierock. The track that appeared on several samplers (Road Movie #57) is heavily influenced by the post-shoegazer noisepop of bands like Starflyer 59 and Morella's Forest, but the rest of the album is quite different. In 1999 another Sal Paradise album called 'For You And Before You' is released on the independent Velvet Blue Music label (owned by former Starflyer 59 member Jeff Cloud).
