1) Matthew Wilson from Evansville, IN, USA been performing since the age of five on piano, electronic and pipe organs, and synthesizers. He is an experienced composer and musical arranger who performs regularly both as a solo artist and in groups. All musical styles are familiar; jazz, ragtime, smooth contemporary jazz, classical and sacred music are particularly favored.
John R. Niles and Tony De Perio met in the Indiana heartland through the small town circuit of drinking, womanizing and general debauchery. Eventually moving to Chicago, both find themselves unemployed and sleeping on the couch of one Jason Kyrouac. Wet Hair is Shawn Reed, Justin Thye, and Ryan Garbes, the two remaining members of Raccoo-oo-oon that stayed in Iowa City after the band's end. Reed also runs Night-People Records, which Garbes often contributes to. Wet Hair began as a solo outing for Reed in late 2007 during the final months of Raccoo-oo-oon, and after the release of a 12" EP and the Irifi Cassette Garbes was added on organ and live drums.
Since 2001, The Envy Corps have been quietly storing their energy and preparing for what is to come. They have been constantly playing shows, writing and rewriting new material, committing and recommitting it to tape, and slowly but surely solidifying their line-up. Along the way, they've garnered the affection of the attentive in the mid-west, as well as many die-hard fans both nationally and internationally.
Former Thieves have been a band characterized by their hard work and grueling tour regimens in their seemingly short life span. But this changed with their signing to No Sleep Records. Coming from the barren and simple fields of Iowa, Former Thieves have created a record that personifies the feelings and emotions of coming from nothing and fighting the entire way to what they have created.
