Countdown to Armageddon

1. Countdown to Armageddon is a hardcore punk/crust band from Seattle, WA formed in 2004. In 2004 they released a demo CDR and did a short West Coast tour with Blight. In 2005 they released a s/t 7” on Aborted Society Records and did a full U.S. tour accompanied by label mates Schifosi from Australia, and friends Kakistocracy from Asheville, NC. In 2010 they released the “Turn into Shadows” Cassette tape, as well as the “Eater of Worlds” LP in October which was followed by a West Coast tour of the US with Frustration (Seattle).

Ghost Mice

Ghost Mice is a two-piece folk-punk band that hails from Bloomington, IN. Ghost Mice was created from the ashes of former pop-punk bands The Devil Is Electric and Operation: Cliff Clavin. Chris Johnston (aka Chris Clavin) and Hannah who played guitar and bass respectively for OP:CC and TDIE, decided to make their act acoustic so they could tour more easily and play almost anywhere. In their own words: "We play 100% acoustic. We never use amps or mics (except once at Plan-It-X Fest). We have been playing in bands together for about 7 years.

The Vals

Electrique Mud/Unique Records (Dusseldorf, Germany) present the debut single from Belfast band The Vals. ‘Yesterday Today' is a song that doesn't shy away from the bands Beatlesque influences. Written by front-man Paul Doherty and recorded in band-mate John Rossi's bedroom, The track has become popular on various radio stations worldwide since it made an appearance on the bands MySpace site. Shortly after, they signed an album and singles deal with the German label.

Burnt Cross

Burnt Cross is an anarcho punk recording project which came together in Brighton, UK and is made up of twin brothers Rob Marriott and Paul Marriott. Though formed in January 2007 the brothers are no strangers to playing punk rock and have performed in bands together as far back as kids fifteen years ago. 'CARCASS OF HUMANITY' was released through Pumpkin Records in 2007 as a 10 track CD and later as an LP version through Tadpole Records.

Formed by Craig Pilkington and Anna Burley as a pop-folk group, from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, received critical acclaim for their 1990 Album Ruby, include receiving an ARIA award for best independent release.

Alternative

Alternative started in the late 1979 in Dunfermline Fife Scotland. Brought together out of frustration and common angered beliefs. They wanted to play their part fighting against the system and it’s so called Democracy, Theocracy and its Monarchy. They originally rented a small venue to use as a practice pad for the band. This was soon to become known as THE PAD and soon became a small Autonomy Centre.

Zounds

Zounds were a UK anarchist band formed in 1977 from loose jamming sessions around the Reading area. Originally they were part of the cassette culture movement, releasing material on the Fuck Off Records tape label, and were also involved in the squatting and free festival scene. The band met up with fellow anarchists Crass when, legend has it, their van broke down on the road. They made their way to nearby Dial House, where Crass were based, who helped them with repairs. The two bands became friends, and although musically very divergent, they shared many common political views.

1) Surrender is a political peace punk band from Oakland/Berkeley, California, USA.
They have one self-titled 7", an full length LP titled "Paper Thrones", a live tape recorded at 924 Gilman, and a split with Acts of Sedition. 2) Surrender is also a well known band from Zeeland (a province of the Netherlands). They play solid dialectrock in "Zeeuwsch dialect".
