The band started at Birmingham in 1986 under the line up: Rich - vocals, Paul (Dirk) - guitar, Neil (Lurch) - bass, Steve - drums. With this line up they played a few gigs and recorded some demo tracks and also recorded the song 'The Law' for 'The Sound Of Oi!' compilation. Rich joined the army and was replaced by Martin (Fluffy). They released their first lp in 1988 under the title 'Oi! Kinnock Give Us Back Our Rose' and in 1990 their second lp 'Hard As Nails'. Neil took the vocals duties when Martin left the band and Sid from Section 5 came to bass.

There is more than one band called The Phantoms: 1. 60s surf rock band. 2. The Phantoms is a ska group from Oslo, Norway formed in 1996. The first line-up included Leo Fossen from the legendary norwegian hip-hop act B.O.L.T. Warhead on vocals. Oi band from somewhere in Scotland and formed in the 90s sometime.

1) Gavroche is a street-punk band, wich started in march 2004 in Santena, a little city near Torino.The band born from the union of different bands: Gigio, Ale and Dieguito, come from a ska-punk band called Revenge, and Gio, was the singer of a combat-rock band called Rancore.
