SCHIZMA is one of the longest running and most popular, also internationally, Polish Hardcore bands. The band was formed in 1990 in the city of Bydgoszcz, Poland. During the 14 years of the bands existence the band went through a lot of line-up changes, however, since the beginning until today it has been true to the non-conformist sound of hard core and to the ethics of independence.
This is a joint project of Los Chikos del Maíz and Habeas Corpus. It started on 2013 with the release of United Artists of Revolution and a tour around Spain.
In summer 2007, UK underground punk favorites THE FILAMENTS reformed to record an album expressing their love of 2-tone era ska and heavy dub reggae. Joined by dancehall sensation MAJAH TUNDER and one-luv gangsta folk pioneer BABAR LUCK, the result was an exciting clash of sounds filling the gap between the Specials and Rancid, Symarip and The Clash. That sound is the BABYLON WHACKERS. With its positive message of love, hope and unification, debut album ‘Happy Days With….’ maintains an energetic old-school sound that has had people talking all across Europe.
Beyond Pink is a hardcore-punk band from Malmö, Sweden. The band started in 2002. This is definitely something for all those into fast hardcore, as well as riot grrrls sounds and tradition of the 80's swedish hc/punk. Their music reflects how wide influences they have and it makes their music powerful and kicking. Their lyrics are alongside with the music, they reflect anger and critical views on issues like macho/sexistculture, violent dancing, cops, pro-life fundemantalists or corporate capitalism and their financial institutions like WTO and G8.
Tattooed Mother Fuckers are a thug rock band founded in 2003, with former members of bands such as English Rose. Despite the member's former connections to RAC groups, TMF distance themselves from any political ideologies and do not sing about political things in their songs. BLAGGERS I.T.A (formerly The Blaggers) were an Oi!/punk and agitpop band noted for their strong militant anti-fascist and left wing lyrics and activism. The band forged particularly close links with Anti Fascist Action, donating money to the organisation as well as using themselves as a platform to promote the organisation and its ideology. The band was founded in 1988 by singer Matty Blagg, who had been introduced to Marxism while in prison.
1) Gavroche is a street-punk band, wich started in march 2004 in Santena, a little city near Torino.The band born from the union of different bands: Gigio, Ale and Dieguito, come from a ska-punk band called Revenge, and Gio, was the singer of a combat-rock band called Rancore. Improvising duo from Canberra, Australia featuring Shoeb Ahmad and Evan Dorrian. Their sound is rooted in free jazz and micro-sound as well as bands like Fugazi and The Ex, utilising loops and processed melodies to build their songforms from. On any given night, they can work their pieces into ambient passages or post-punk riots. They have toured Australia, Malaysia and Singapore, playing shows with the likes of Adrian Klumpes, My Disco, Cleptoclectics, Akta Angkasa and many others.
