Iration Steppas

Mark Iration speaks in a booming voice; his dub roots sound system prides itself on being one of the very best and certainly one of the loudest in Europe; and the man even writes in capital letters. Everything about his is about giving his all. The sound system culture of sound-clashes boils down to holding your own against the other sound system, about feeding off each other, about raising the pace and winning the crowd.

Da Lata

Da Lata was originally founded by musician and producer Chris Franck and DJ Patrick Forge in the summer of 1996. The idea for the project was to blend influences with modern sensibility incorporating both and elements in the music. Early experimentation came in the form of remixes rather than original material which proved to be a great way of honing the sound and at the same time gave exposure to the name.

Blackmore's Night is an English Renaissance-inspired medieval folk rock band led by UK guitarist Ritchie Blackmore (electric and acoustic guitars) and Candice Night (lyricist and lead vocals). The origins of the band lie in 1990 when Candice was working at a local New York rock music radio station, and as part of her work first encountered Ritchie (now ex-Deep Purple/Rainbow guitarist), then with Deep Purple, at a soccer game he was playing in.
