Sylvie Lewis is a singer/songwriter, currently based in Rome, Italy. Born in London, England, she came to the United States in 1995 and studied at the Berklee College of Music. After some travelling, she relocated to Los Angeles, where her self-released EP "Beautiful Mess" was heard by Cheap Lullaby Records, and she was signed to a deal. She released her debut album Tangos and Tantrums in 2005 to good reviews, and has toured the United States and the United Kingdom since then.

Amsterdam-born singer Eva Simons hails from a long line of musicians with a pianist-father, trumpeter step-father, and vocalist mother. According to the Take Over Control Songfacts, her grandfather was accordion player Johnny Meijer (1912–92), who became so famous in Holland, that his hometown of Amsterdam even dedicated a statue to him. She has been playing piano and composing since she was a small child and graduated from the Conservatorium von Amsterdam.
Jessie Malakouti began her career by joining the DIDC Hip Hop Dance Crew at age 12. She toured nationally with them, winning several awards including the 2003 Urban Jam National Scholarship. This opened the door for Malakouti to dance in music videos for major artists like Nick Cannon, and P!nk, and act in commercials for Verizon Wireless, and Powerade. In 2005 Malakouti formed the band 'Shut Up Stella' and signed a record deal with Epic Records, a division of Sony Music. Shut Up Stella recorded several songs, one of which ("Welcome to My Party") appeared in the 2008 film Baby Mama.
Wynter Gordon (born Diana Gordon; August 25, 1985) is an American singer and songwriter. Wynter was born in New York and was brought up in a poverty stricken neighborhood in Queens. As the middle child of seven living in a two bedroom house with an abusive and largely absent father, her childhood was difficult. Wynter discovered her talent for singing and dance at an early age. As a teenager, she was accepted to the famous LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts. There, she was nurtured in a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment.
